Explaining Biosensor Technology 

Stretchable, flexible, conductive inks are printed on thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) film.  Printed insulative ink and/or TPU film can be used to encapsulate the printed traces to increase durability.  Sensors are die or laser-cut from printed sheets to the final size, eliminating the excess TPU film (less stiff).
