MATERIAL NOTES
DuPont™ BQ331 is a solvent-based conductive gold ink that is used for working electrodes in biosensors. The formulation is well suited for excellent sensitivity providing high signal to noise ratios in many types of designs. It can be screen printed using a 200SS mesh screen yielding 0.0005" and can be dried at 130-140°C for 1-5 minutes. The ink can be diluted with 8210 FOR REFERENCE ONLY

DESCRIPTION
The Ercon E4464 coating system contains a proprietary fine gold dispersion in a resin system for printing
highly conductive patterns with controlled electrical properties on substrates. These conductive coatings can
be applied using many standard printing techniques, including screen-printing, and possess good wear
characteristics, flexibility, and good adhesion to many substrates when properly dried.
The Ercon E4464 system is a member of Ercon's '400' series. Ercon's '400' series includes silver/silver
chloride, silver, gold, graphite, carbon, and other conductive formulations which can be used in conjunction
with the E4464 system.
APPLICATIONS
The Ercon E4464 coating system has been engineered for disposable diagnostics and biosensor
applications for the rapid determination, analysis, and monitoring of bodily fluid and environmental
constituents. The controlled electrical properties of the E4464 system are also useful for many diverse
commercial applications.
